Mr. Chase Middleman brings a unique combination of advanced mathematics, artificial intelligence, and industry data science experience to Kūlia Academy. He is passionate about helping students develop strong analytical thinking skills while exploring the rapidly evolving fields of mathematics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science.

Mr. Middleman earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Stanford University and a Master of Science in Mathematics from Stony Brook University. He later completed advanced training in data science and has built a successful career applying artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions in both the financial services and technology sectors.

Prior to joining Kūlia Academy, Mr. Middleman worked as a Data Scientist for several organizations, including Brown Brothers Harriman, Vanguard, QuaEra Insights, and Continental Finance Company. In these roles, he developed machine learning models, built large language model (LLM) applications, designed AI-powered document analysis systems, and deployed predictive analytics solutions used in real-world business environments. His work has included natural language processing, neural networks, large-scale data analysis, and generative AI technologies.

In addition to his industry experience, Mr. Middleman has more than a decade of teaching and tutoring experience. He has taught mathematics at the college level as an Adjunct Professor at the Community College of Philadelphia and has served as a STEM instructor, mathematics tutor, and mentor for students ranging from elementary school through university level. He is known for making challenging concepts accessible and engaging while helping students build confidence in their mathematical abilities.
